I'm a digital journalist from Philadelphia, MS. Currently, I live in Hattiesburg, MS where I'm attending the University of Southern Mississippi.
I must admit, when I was growing up, I was unsure of the path I'd take when I became an adult. What I did know, though, was that I desired to inspire those around me. As a child, I was an avid researcher who had an unusual love for politics, so when I stepped onto the University of Southern Mississippi's campus, I found a place where I could combine my love for investigation, communication, politics, and multimedia storytelling - the Mass Communication and Journalism department. The rest of my story is history in the making.
I filmed, edited, and wrote each package featured on this blog. I specialize in using the Final Cut Pro editing system. I have also worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer for Hub City Television, a student news magazine production for Southern Miss. Additionally, I'm proficient in using social media websites like Twitter.
